郑瑞茂,北京大学新体制长聘研究员。北京大学百人计划特聘研究员。博士生导师。北京大学代谢与功能形态学研究实验室/中心负责人。国家教育部神经科学重点实验室、国家卫健委神经科学重点实验室、北京大学神经科学研究所兼职研究员。曾获北京大学博士学位(2004),中国科学院(2005-2006),美国华盛顿大学医学院(University of Washington School of Medicine)(2007-2011),美国哈佛大学(Harvard University)干细胞与再生生物学系(Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology)、哈佛大学医学院伯根汉姆医院医学系心血管科(Department of Medicine, Cardiovascular Division, Brigham and Women's Hospital,Harvard Medical School)、及哈佛大学干细胞研究所(Harvard Stem Cell Institute)(2011-2013)博士后。论文发表在 Advanced Science, Nature Biotechnology, Nature, Cell Death & Differentiation, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Diabetes,Redox Biology 等学术期刊。主要研究方向为:代谢与心血管调控的神经与分子机制研究,神经科学,前沿新技术,及相关疾病新机理与新疗法研究。
科研工作经历:
美国华盛顿大学期间被聘为研究员(Senior fellow),所在实验室延续荣誉系主任、诺贝尔奖获得者Edwin G. Krebs教授发现的蛋白激酶A(PKA)等工作,研究代谢调控的神经与分子机制;在Stanley McKnight教授指导下,发现下丘脑GABA能神经元PKA调控机体代谢的机制(PNAS,2013a);与转基因发现者、美国科学院院士Richard Palmiter教授合作,揭示中枢臂旁核(PBN)神经元NMDA受体调控摄食行为的分子机理(PNAS,2013b)。美国哈佛大学期间被聘为医学研究员(Research fellow in Medicine),研究再生医学的神经与分子机制,发现胆碱能神经元参与介导斑马鱼心脏再生过程(Developmental Cell,2014)。曾任哈佛大学-霍华德休斯医学研究所(Howard Hughes Medical Institute, HHMI)Exceptional Research Opportunities Program项目指导老师(Mentor)。2013年入选北京大学优秀青年人才计划(北京大学百人计划),为北京大学百人计划特聘研究员,博士生导师;2021年被聘为北京大学新体制长聘研究员。北大期间,揭示背内侧下丘脑GABA能神经元RIIβ-PKA调控脂肪组织褐变的神经与分子机制(Advanced Science,2023);合作研发基于基因表达谱的药效预测系统,获2021年中国生物信息学十大进展(Nature Biotechnology,2021);提出病毒感染导致帕金森病的新机制(Cell Death & Differentiation,2021)。
